How to pack a travel bag correctly

Item classification and packaging

If you need a lot of items, use waterproof bags to sort and pack all kinds of items before packing, especially clothes and electronic products. Waterproofing should be done when doing outdoor activities.

Keep heavier items as close to the body’s center of gravity as possible

Some heavy equipment such as cooking utensils and tents should be placed on the top of the backpack as close to the back as possible. This filling method can make the center of gravity of the backpack closer.

For those who like photography, you can put the camera and tripod on the top of the backpack. Remember, the camera must be packed in a professional camera in advance. This kind of packing method also facilitates the use of photography equipment, so it can be easily and conveniently taken when you want to take pictures.

Frequently used items within easy reach

Keep frequently used items within easy reach. Things such as mosquito repellent, wetsuits, and ponchos can be placed in bags outside so they are easy to access.

Without an outer bag, these items would have to be placed at the very top of the bag. The less frequently used items are placed at the bottom.

Make full use of plug-ins

External hangings include top hanging, side hanging, back hanging, bottom hanging, etc. When hanging externally, they must be fixed and there should be no shaking to prevent them from falling off.

Placement order

Top: Frequently used items such as headlamps, rain jackets, rain pants, and warm clothing.

Middle part (starting near the back and extending to the outermost side, divided into three parts in total):
Water as the heaviest weight should be placed closest to the inside of the back,
In the second most important part in the middle, you can put some cooking utensils (such as a small pot for steaming), food (you can choose food and portion according to your personal needs), and some warm clothes that are not used all the time.
In the outermost part, the lightest items need to be placed here, such as waterproof jackets, waterproof gloves, leggings and other equipment to help us resist rain and moisture.

Bottom: recommended for sleeping bag

I hope this article can better help you have a pleasant trip.
